Here is a fresh collection of the best free fonts in 2016 that in our opinion deserve your attention and will work great with your future projects. Accordingly to personal preferences I am opening this list with sans serif fonts. Here are the best fonts in my opinion, of course we’re talking about free for personal and often commercial use licensed fonts
Monopoly Free Font
Free sans-serif fonts designed by Hyun Seok Choi.
As per author info font is 100% both for personal and commercial project. Yay, really nice font, that would look great in gadget / modern magazines websites and themes. Our suggestion – use it on Topaz or SnowMag themes.
Ridley Grotesk
Ridley Grotesk is a modern sans-serif font designed by talented typeface designer Radomir Tinkov from Sofia, Bulgaria. The font is perfect for graphic design and display use and comes in 8 different weight that include extended language support, ligatures, true small capitals and alternate characters. Ridley Grotesk was published back in March 2016, now it’s available through Radomir’s website. You can either download 2 weights of this awesome sans-serif font for free or purchase the whole font family at 75% discount. Mosk
This is your lucky day. Here it is another excellent sans-serif font – Mosk. It’s clean, elegant and contemporary typeface great for websites, logos and other graphic design projects. Especially when we consider a fact that it comes in 9 different styles, totally for free. The font was designed by Bulgaria based art director Iulian Maftei. We are surely thankful to Iulian. Make sure to check out his other fonts, as the Most is not the only free fonts he gives back to design community.
Display Fonts That You Can Download & Use For Free
Anurati – A Free Futuristic Display Font
Well, this one is realy, really nice in our opinion. Anurati font was designed by Emmeran Richard based in Toulouse, France. In the matter of fact he also designed another great font – Blanka that you may have seen already. Accordingly to Emmeran this font was initially created for his own website. We’re not sure why he actually used it or not, but man, we’re so glad he released it to the public. Thank you so much for this. We were actually in look for contemporary, sans-serif and futuristic font like that a while for our side project and baaaam, we found Anurati. Getting to the point. Naturally as you know now you can download Anurati for free and use it both – for both personal and commercial projects. Enjoy!

Panton – A Free Modern Geometric Font
Panton by Font Fabric / Ivan Petrov is the another great font that you can use in your design projects in 2016 be sure that your design will stay fresh and modern. This modern, geometric font inspired by classic grotesque typefacess is suitable for headlines and blocks of text. It will work equally well across different media / projects such as print design (i.e. posters), web design, graphic design (i.e. logos) , printable materials (t-shirts, clothing, marketing / promotional materials). So really it will suit all your typography needs, sky is the limit :) We should mention that Panton is actually a font family that comprises out of 34 font weights whereas you can download 4 weights for free.
